Board of Directors and meetings

Maryknoll Townhomes of Glen Ellyn is a homeowners association under Illinois law. Its affairs are governed by a Board of Directors pursuant to the governance documents.

Directors

Directors are elected for staggered three-year terms at the Annual Meetings in November. The new Board then elects officers for the following year. In the listing of directors below, the year each director's current term expires is listed after the director's name:

A nomination form will accompany the meeting notice sent to homeowners in September.

The Board Secretary maintains a Directory of Homeowners and Residents and emails a copy to all residents on May 1 and November 1. Send directory edits by email to Bob O. Board members are marked “(BD)” in the directory.

Meeting schedule

The Board of Directors normally meets on the second Monday of every month at 6:30 PM. Most meetings are on Zoom; the Annual Meeting is in person.

Owners are welcome at every Board meeting without being on the agenda, and may take two minutes to speak just by showing up and thereafter may listen but not speak. To be placed on the agenda for a longer discussion, contact the Association Manager or any Board member. Some meetings include an executive session for non-public issues.
